OLIVIA JAMPOL

Olivia (she/her) is a writer, director, and actor living in Brooklyn. She grew up on a coffee farm and hotel in Costa Rica and studied filmmaking at Harvard University.

Olivia’s films are provocative and subversive, combining elements of horror, magical realism, psychological thriller, and dark comedy. She mines the depths of desire and obsession through unapologetically complex female protagonists.

Her film, JEANNIE, shot on 16mm, was acquired by the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit (MoCAD) for their permanent collection, and her newest short, IFFY, a surreal dark comedy, premiered at the 2024 Dallas International Film Festival.

Olivia’s most recent feature script, HOMESTALKER, was shortlisted for the Sundance Development Lab, a semifinalist for the Black List Features Lab and the Austin Film Festival 2x (including for the prestigious Enderby Entertainment Award), and made it into the Top 1% of all Thriller Features on Coverfly.

Olivia is also an AEA/SAG-AFTRA actress, recognized for her strong presence and sharp sense of humor.
